Workspaces
What are workspaces?
Section titled “What are workspaces?”Every Zeiter account belongs to at least one workspace (also called an organization). A workspace is a shared container for time entries, projects, tags, and team members.
When you sign up, a personal workspace is created for you automatically. You can also be invited to join other workspaces — for example, your company’s team workspace.
Switching workspaces
Section titled “Switching workspaces”If you belong to more than one workspace, the profile menu shows a workspace switcher:
- Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
- Under the Workspaces heading, you will see all your workspaces listed.
- Click the workspace you want to switch to.
The active workspace shows a checkmark. All data (time entries, projects, reports) updates to reflect the selected workspace.
Joining a workspace
Section titled “Joining a workspace”There are two ways to join an existing workspace:
- Invitation link — A workspace admin sends you an invite. Click the link and follow the prompts.
- Join request — If the workspace has a public join link, you can request to join and wait for admin approval.
See Invitations for details on the invitation flow.
