Invitations & Join Links

There are two ways to join an existing Zeiter workspace: email invitations and join links.

When someone invites you by email, you receive a link in the form /invite/<token>.

  1. Open the invitation link.
  2. You will see the workspace name, your assigned role, and when the invitation expires.
  3. If you are already signed in, click Join to accept immediately.
  4. If you are not signed in, sign in or create an account on the same page — the invitation is accepted automatically after authentication.

After joining, if you belong to multiple workspaces you will be asked which one to open. Otherwise you are redirected to the app automatically.

If the link has expired or been revoked, you will see an “Invitation unavailable” message with a button to return to the app or sign-in page.

Workspace owners can share a join URL in the form /join/<token>. Unlike invitations, join links are not tied to a specific email and require owner approval.

  1. Open the join link.
  2. You will see the workspace name and a note that the owner must approve your request.
  3. Sign in or create an account if you are not already authenticated.
  4. Optionally add a short message to the workspace owner (up to 500 characters).
  5. Click Request to join.

After submitting, you will see a confirmation that your request was sent. The workspace owner will review it from their Settings page.
