Week Grid View

The Week Grid displays all entries for the selected week in a 7-column layout, one column per day (Monday through Sunday).

Click the Week tab in the view switcher above the entry list. The view switcher has two options:

  • List — the default grouped-by-day view
  • Week — the 7-column grid

When you switch to Week view, the date picker automatically enters week mode, restricting navigation to full weeks.

Each day column shows:

  • Day number and weekday in the header (e.g., “24 Mon”)
  • Total duration for that day as a pill badge
  • Entry cards stacked vertically

Today’s column is highlighted with an indigo tint.

Empty days show a dashed placeholder with “No entries” text.

Each card in the grid displays:

  • Project monogram (colored circle with initials)
  • Description (up to 2 lines)
  • Project name
  • Start - end times (visible on hover)
  • Duration badge
  • Billable indicator ($) if applicable

Running timer entries show a live elapsed time with a pulsing icon.

  1. Click any entry card to open an edit popover.
  2. The popover appears to the side of the card and contains the same editing controls as the list view: description, time range, project, tags, billable, and delete.
  3. Click outside the popover or press Escape to close it. Changes auto-save.
