Timer Mode

Timer mode is the default tracking method. It runs a live clock while you work and records the exact duration when you stop.

Starting a Timer

1. Make sure the Timer tab is selected in the bottom-right of the tracker (the clock icon).
2. Optionally type a description, pick a project, add tags, or toggle billable.
3. Click the play button to start tracking.

The elapsed time updates live in the tracker and the button changes to a red stop icon.

Tip

You can start a timer without filling in any details first. Add a description, project, or tags while the timer is running — changes save automatically.

Stopping a Timer

1. Click the stop button (red square) to end the session.
2. The entry is saved with the recorded duration and appears in your entry list below.

After stopping, the description and tags reset so you can start a fresh session. Your project selection is preserved.

Mini Timer

When you scroll down past the tracker, an ActiveMiniTimer appears in the navigation rail so you always see the running clock.

The mini timer shows:

• The live elapsed time
• A stop button to end the session without scrolling back up

Mode Switcher

The three mode icons at the bottom-right of the tracker let you switch between Timer, Range, and Duration modes. The mode switcher is disabled while a timer is running.
