Entry Details
Every time entry can include a description, project, tags, and a billable flag. These details help you organize and report on your tracked time.
Description
Section titled “Description”Type in the description field at the top of the tracker. This is a free-text field for noting what you worked on.
Auto-Suggestions
Section titled “Auto-Suggestions”As you type, Zeiter shows up to 3 matching entries from your recent history. Suggestions match against descriptions of completed entries.
- Use Arrow Up / Down to navigate suggestions.
- Press Enter to apply a suggestion (fills in description, project, and billable status).
- Press Escape to dismiss the list.
Project
Section titled “Project”Click the project selector in the bottom bar to assign a project. It opens a searchable dropdown listing all workspace projects.
- Each project shows its colored monogram.
- Select “No Project” to clear the assignment (unless your workspace requires a project).
- The selector supports keyboard search to quickly find a project.
Click the tag selector (tag icon) in the bottom bar to add one or more tags. Tags are multi-select — check as many as you need.
The trigger shows the names of selected tags as a comma-separated list, or “Add tags” when none are chosen.
Billable Toggle
Section titled “Billable Toggle”Click the billable badge (dollar icon) in the bottom bar to toggle between billable and non-billable. The badge turns green when billable is active.
When the workspace has billing rates configured, billable entries will show monetary amounts in reports.
