Danger Zone

The Workspace Danger Zone in Account Settings contains destructive actions that affect your entire workspace. Proceed carefully.

Export workspace data

Before deleting (or at any time), you can export a full copy of your workspace data:

1. Click Export data. The export starts processing in the background.
2. A confirmation message appears: “Export started.” Processing typically takes a few seconds to a few minutes depending on workspace size.
3. To download the export once ready, open the export history by clicking the clock icon next to the export button.

Export history

Click the clock icon to view all past exports. Each entry shows:

• The date and time the export was created
• The current status: Processing, Ready, or Failed

Click Download on any export with a “Ready” status to save it to your computer.

Delete workspace

Workspace deletion follows a 30-day grace period model. Nothing is permanently removed until the grace period expires.

1. Click Delete workspace to reveal the confirmation form.
2. Enter your password to verify your identity.
3. Optionally provide a reason for deletion.
4. Click Confirm delete.

Once confirmed, a warning banner appears showing:

• The scheduled permanent deletion date
• A countdown of time remaining

Caution

When the 30-day grace period ends, all workspace data is permanently deleted — time entries, projects, tags, members, and settings. This cannot be undone.

Cancel deletion

If you change your mind during the grace period:

1. Click Cancel deletion on the warning banner.
2. The workspace is immediately restored to normal operation.

All data remains intact and the deletion is fully reversed. You can continue using the workspace as before.

Tip

We recommend exporting your workspace data before confirming deletion, even if you plan to cancel. Click Export data to create a backup at any time.
