Onboarding

After signing in for the first time, Zeiter walks you through a two-step onboarding wizard.

Select one of two options:

  • Personal — for individual time tracking.
  • Team — for tracking time with collaborators. Selecting this reveals invite options (see below).

Give your workspace a name. This is shown in the sidebar and in invitation emails.

When you select Team, two invite methods appear:

  • Invite by email — type an email address and press Enter or comma to add it. You can queue up multiple addresses. Invitations are sent when you continue to the next step.
  • Join URL — a shareable link is generated automatically. Copy it and send it to anyone who should be able to request access. People who open this link will submit a join request that you approve from Settings.

You are offered the option to register a passkey for faster, passwordless sign-in.

  1. Click Set up passkey.
  2. Follow your device prompt (fingerprint, Face ID, security key, etc.).
  3. A green confirmation appears once the passkey is saved.

This step is optional. Click Launch app to skip it and start using Zeiter. You can add a passkey later from Settings > Security.
