Exporting your data

You can download a copy of your account data at any time.

1. Open Account Settings and select Danger Zone in the sidebar.
2. Click Export Data.

The export downloads as a file to your device.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is permanent but includes a 30-day grace period so you can change your mind.

Requesting deletion

1. In the Danger Zone section, click Delete Account.
2. A confirmation panel appears. Enter your password.
3. Optionally provide a reason (this helps us improve Zeiter).
4. Click Confirm Delete.

Once confirmed, a banner shows the scheduled deletion date and the time remaining.

Caution

After the 30-day grace period, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Canceling deletion

If you change your mind within the 30-day window:

1. Return to Account Settings > Danger Zone.
2. Click Cancel Deletion.

Your account returns to normal immediately. You can also still export your data while deletion is pending.
